Step four: every trade, mirrored
From the moment the subscription is active, every new trade the strategy opens is repeated in your account. The copying happens inside the broker’s servers, so it is close to instantaneous, and it does not depend on anything on your side. You do not need MetaTrader installed, open or running. Your computer can be off. The trades are still copied.
The copy follows the trade for its whole life. When the strategy modifies a stop or a target, the copied position is adjusted. When the strategy closes, yours closes. When the strategy holds through a weekend, so do you. Your account is a scaled reflection of the strategy account, trade by trade.
What you will see
Open MetaTrader 5 or the Members Area and the copied positions appear as ordinary positions in your account, with the instrument, the size, the open price and a floating profit or loss that moves with the market. Two things about the first days deserve saying in advance:
- The first position will probably show a loss at first. A position is opened at one side of the spread and valued at the other, so it starts slightly negative, and the market can move against a position for hours or days before the trade resolves. This is not a problem and not a reason to act.
- Your equity will move more than your balance. Balance only changes when trades close. Equity includes open positions. A drawdown in the strategy shows up first in your equity, and that is the number to watch, not the balance.
Why your numbers differ from the track record
Your results will be close to the strategy’s and not identical. The differences are structural rather than sinister:
- Ratio at the moment of copying. Proportional sizing uses the two equities at the instant each trade is copied. As both accounts move, the ratio drifts slightly from trade to trade.
- Rounding. Your volume is rounded to the lot step. On a small account the rounding is a larger share of the position.
- Execution. Your order is filled a fraction of a second after the strategy’s, at whatever price is available. Usually the same, sometimes a few cents away, and in a fast market a few dollars.
- Start date. You joined on a different day from every other subscriber, so your cumulative percentage will never match the headline gain. The track record series explains how to compare properly.
A small, steady gap is normal. A large one is a question, and the first place to look is the Skipped Transactions page in the Members Area, which lists any trade that was not copied and why: insufficient margin, an instrument your account type does not support, pause mode on, or a volume that rounded down below the minimum.
Verify it, do not trust it
Nothing in this model asks you to take our word for anything. Three independent records exist, and they should agree:
- Your own platform. Every open position and every closed trade is in the history of your account, and fee settlements appear there as well.
- The broker’s daily statement. RoboForex sends you a statement of your account every trading day. It is generated by the broker, not by us.
- Myfxbook. The strategy’s own account is published and verified on Myfxbook. The trades in your account should be the same trades, at your size.
If those three ever disagree, the broker’s statement is the source of truth, and the lesson on reading Myfxbook critically shows what to check next.
Pause and disconnect
Two controls exist, both in your Members Area, and neither requires our approval.
Pause stops new trades from being copied while keeping the subscription. Positions already open stay open and continue to follow the strategy’s adjustments. There is no time limit, and you can resume whenever you like. It is the right tool for a planned withdrawal or a period when you want no new exposure.
Cancel ends the subscription. The platform calculates any performance fee due on profit to that point and settles it, usually within minutes. Read the cancellation screen before confirming: it tells you how the positions still open in your account will be handled. If you want them closed rather than left for you to manage, do that deliberately.
Infinity cannot prevent, delay or reverse either action. That is not a courtesy. It is how the platform is built, and it is the reason the whole arrangement is safe to enter.
The whole model in one line
Your account, your money, your control. Our rules, copied into it, trade by trade, verifiable on three records you can read at any time.
You maintain full control over your account. We grow it.
