Consolidation on the daily chart
Gold is coiling inside two overlapping triangles on the daily chart, with the apex due in the first half of July. Volume is fading, as it should before a breakout.
Where we expect the breakout
Our base case is an upside resolution above $4,150 targeting $4,300. The alternative is a fake-out below $4,050 followed by a fast reversal, which is why we keep entries staggered.
Entry zones
We are adding between $4,060 and $4,090 with invalidation at $4,020. The next update follows once the triangle resolves.
